Version history
Every chart is a timeline. Every edit is auditable.
Chartix keeps every version of every chart — with author, timestamp, source, and approver. Pick any two versions to see exactly what changed, overlaid on the same axes. Roll back in a click. Never chase a "which version is this?" thread again.

The problem
Charts are everywhere. Truth is not.
The moment a chart leaves Excel or Tableau, it loses its connection to the data. Someone changes a spreadsheet. The dashboard updates. The presentation doesn't.
Copied into PowerPoints
Exported once, stale forever. The source moves; the slide stays the same.
Screenshotted into Slack
A snapshot becomes the new reference. Context is lost in a thread.
Pasted into Notion
The number looks right until someone asks which week it came from.
Exported into PDFs
The report is already outdated before it lands in someone's inbox.
The solution
The source of truth for every chart.
Chartix is the first platform built to manage charts the way GitHub manages code. Every chart has its original data, its design, its edit history, its versions, its collaborators, its exports, and its live connections — all in one place.
- Original data, preserved and queryable
- Design and styling, versioned over time
- Edit history with who changed what and when
- Collaborators, comments, and approvals
- Live exports that refresh automatically
The pipeline
From raw data to published chart — in one place.
Five stages, one source of truth. Every chart moves through create, connect, version, review, and publish — and stays live wherever it's embedded.
- 01
Create
Start from a template, a CSV, or recreate any chart from a screenshot with AI.
Watch it work - 02
Connect
Wire the chart to Google Sheets, CSV, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, BigQuery, or a REST API.
Watch it work - 03
Version
Every edit is a version. Compare, roll back, and see who changed what and when.
Watch it work - 04
Review
Comment, approve, and collaborate on the same chart — no more screenshots in Slack.
Watch it work - 05
Publish
Embed a live chart in Notion, docs, decks, and dashboards. It refreshes when the data does.

Capabilities
Turn any chart into a living asset.
Upload anything
Drop in a screenshot, PDF, dashboard, image, or presentation. Chartix reconstructs the chart, recovers the data, and makes it fully editable. No manual recreation. No starting from scratch.
Live data connections
Connect to Excel, Google Sheets, CSV, SQL, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, or BigQuery. When the underlying data changes, every chart, report, and embedded view updates automatically.
Version control for charts
Who changed the axis? When did revenue become quarterly instead of monthly? Restore any version, compare revisions, and branch ideas — the same discipline developers use, now for charts.
One chart, everywhere
Create a chart once and reuse it everywhere. Embed live charts into Notion, Confluence, docs, websites, and internal tools. Export instantly to PowerPoint, Canva, Figma, PNG, SVG, or PDF.
Built for analysts
Designers have Figma. Developers have GitHub. Analysts still email screenshots. Chartix gives data teams a workspace to comment, review, approve, share, and publish charts together.
Governance by default
Row-level access control, encrypted storage, and audit history mean your charts stay as secure and traceable as the data behind them.
Integrations
Data in. Charts out.
Chartix sits between your data sources and the places your team communicates. No rebuilding. No duplicate work.
Connected to what you trust.
Pull from the spreadsheets, databases, and warehouses your team already uses. One connection keeps every downstream chart in sync.
Publish everywhere.
Embed live charts or export static assets in the formats your audience expects. The chart stays current even after it leaves Chartix.
Live data connection
Connect a sheet. The chart updates itself.
Paste any Google Sheets URL, pick a range, and every downstream chart, embed, and export stays in sync. Edit a cell in the sheet — watch the chart, the total, and every embedded copy update within seconds.

One-click embed
Copy a snippet. Paste anywhere. Stays live.
Every Chartix chart ships with a working iframe, script tag, and Markdown snippet. Copy it, drop it into a doc or a webpage, and it renders exactly like the preview on the right.

Fits the way your team already works.
A system of record only works if people actually use it. Chartix is designed to earn adoption on day one — no rip-and-replace, no new dashboard to babysit, no training program to roll out.
60 seconds to first chart
Drop a screenshot, PDF, or spreadsheet. AI recovers the data, rebuilds the chart, and gives it a permanent Chartix URL. No setup call, no data pipeline, no onboarding sprint.
Lives inside your existing stack
Notion, Confluence, Google Docs, Slides, PowerPoint, Figma, internal wikis, customer-facing sites — paste one embed URL and the chart stays live wherever it's referenced.
Zero rip-and-replace
Keep Excel, Google Sheets, Snowflake, BigQuery, and Postgres exactly as they are. Chartix sits on top as the presentation layer — the source of truth stays where your data already lives.
One workflow, every role
Analysts build. Managers review and comment. Execs consume the same live chart in a deck. No more re-exporting a screenshot for every audience.
Governance without slowing anyone down
Every edit, restore, and publish is logged automatically. Approvals and roles kick in when you need them — not before. Compliance gets an audit trail; the team doesn't get a bottleneck.
Adoption spreads with every embed
Each embedded chart is a live link back to Chartix. When a stakeholder clicks through to see the source, they land in your workspace — the fastest org-wide rollout you'll ever run.
API for the lifecycle
Register, update, version, and publish charts programmatically. Wire Chartix into your reporting pipelines, BI jobs, and CI so charts ship with the code and data that produced them.
Meets analysts where they are
Bring your own spreadsheet, keep your own formulas. Chartix reads the sheet, watches for changes, and refreshes every downstream chart automatically.
Safe to standardize on
Row-level access, encrypted storage, audit history, and SSO/SCIM on Enterprise. The controls a system of record needs to become the default across an org.
Workflows by role
One system of record. Purpose-built for every seat.
Each team needs a different thing from a chart. Chartix turns those needs into shared, repeatable workflows — so the same chart becomes the source of truth for the person who built it and the executive who reads it.

Adoption proof
Adoption that shows up in the first week.
Concrete outcomes from teams that made Chartix their system of record — measured by speed, reuse, and governance.
Median time from dropping a screenshot to a live, editable, versioned chart with a public URL.
From a static image in Slack to a working iframe, Notion embed, or Markdown snippet.
One Chartix URL reused across decks, docs, wikis, and dashboards instead of one export per audience.
Time reclaimed from manually recreating, re-exporting, and answering "what's the source?" threads.
Approver, timestamp, source range, and version diff available in one click for every regulated chart.
Of recurring reports and shared visuals migrated to a versioned, governed URL within four weeks.
Live usage · updated in real time
Every number below is pulled live from the Chartix database.
These are actual counters from internal testing and early design-partner activity — not marketing estimates. They tick up as charts, versions, and embed impressions happen. Testimonials below are illustrative while the beta cohort ramps.
"We killed the weekly "update the board deck" ritual. The deck points at Chartix URLs — the numbers update themselves before the meeting starts."
"A PM sent a screenshot from a competitor's earnings PDF at 4pm. By 4:02 we had it rebuilt, versioned, and embedded in the strategy doc."
"Auditors asked which version of the LTV chart was in the September board memo. One click. Approver, timestamp, source range — all there."
Workflow
Replace the broken chain.
Every step creates another copy. Another outdated version. Another broken link.
One chart. Infinite outputs. Always connected.
Why Chartix?
Because charts aren't images.
They're living documents. They deserve version history, collaboration, automation, and a single source of truth.

No arbitrary caps on charts or AI credits. You pay for collaboration and infrastructure — the shared, trusted charts that run your business.
Trust
Built to a serious standard.
The security and privacy controls a source-of-truth platform should have, explained plainly.
Encryption in transit & at rest
All traffic is served over HTTPS/TLS. Uploaded charts and data connections are stored in an encrypted managed database with per-user access rules.
Row-level access control
Your charts, data connections, and version history are scoped to your account. No other user can read your private workspace.
Managed cloud infrastructure
Hosted on hardened, edge-deployed infrastructure with automated backups. Data connections are handled server-side with secure credentials.
Own your data
Delete any chart, connection, or version at any time. Request full account deletion and we remove your workspace from our systems.
Audit trail by default
Every change, restore, and export is logged. Know who changed what and when — without configuring a separate logging tool.
Reliable sync
Background sync keeps connected charts current. If a source is temporarily unavailable, the last known version remains visible.
Welcome to the future of chart management.
Stop managing screenshots. Start managing charts. One source of truth, connected to your data, everywhere your team works.
FAQ
Adoption, governance & security
How Chartix fits alongside the tools your team already uses, how data is handled, and who can see what.
Do we have to rip out Tableau, Looker, or our BI stack?
No. Chartix is a system of record for charts — it sits alongside your BI tool, not in front of it. Analysts keep authoring in Tableau/Looker/Metabase; Chartix captures the published chart, versions it, and produces the embed that goes into docs, decks, memos, and internal sites. Your BI tool remains the source of truth for exploration.
How does it work with Notion, Confluence, Google Docs, and Slides?
Every chart gets an iframe/script embed and an image URL. Paste the embed in Notion or Confluence, or drop the auto-refreshing image into Google Slides / Docs. When the chart updates, every surface updates — no reupload, no broken screenshots.
What about Google Sheets, Excel, or a warehouse?
Connect a Sheet by URL, upload a CSV, or point at a warehouse view. Chartix reads on a schedule you set (default 5 min for Sheets, configurable for warehouses). Nothing is written back — Chartix is read-only against your data.
Where is our data stored, and for how long?
Chart specs, version history, and cached query results are stored in our managed backend, encrypted at rest. Cached results follow the retention window on your plan (7 days on Free, 90 days on Pro, configurable on Team). You can delete a chart and its full history at any time; deletion is hard-delete within 24 hours.
Can we control which data leaves our systems?
Yes. Connections are scoped per chart — a Sheets connection only reads the ranges you name. Warehouse connectors use a read-only role you provision. You can mark any chart or workspace as "do not embed publicly," which disables anonymous embed URLs and forces signed, short-lived links instead.
Do you train models on our data?
No. Your chart data, spec history, and connection contents are never used to train models — ours or third-party. AI features (chart suggestions, natural-language edits) run per-request and are not retained for training. See the disclaimer at the bottom of this page for the full plain-terms summary.
How is access controlled?
Every workspace has role-based access: Viewer, Editor, Approver, Admin. Chart visibility is set per chart (private, workspace, or public embed). Approvals gate changes to charts flagged "requires review" — an Approver has to sign off before a new version becomes the live embed.
What authentication options are supported?
Email + password and Google sign-in are available on every plan. SAML SSO is available on Team and above. Sessions are short-lived with refresh rotation; you can force sign-out across a workspace at any time.
How are embeds secured?
Public embeds are opt-in per chart and served from a CDN with no access to the underlying connection credentials — only the rendered chart spec. Private embeds use signed URLs with a configurable TTL and optional domain allowlist, so an embed only renders on your approved sites.
What happens if someone leaves the team?
Admins can revoke a member instantly. Their sessions are invalidated, their pending approvals reassigned, and any personal API tokens they created are disabled. Charts they authored remain in the workspace under the workspace's ownership.

Plain terms. Chartix.ai is a chart management and visualization platform. It does not provide investment advice, execute trades, or handle financial transactions. The accuracy of any chart depends on the data sources and inputs you connect.
You are responsible for verifying the data, connections, and outputs you share with others. Always confirm the source of truth before making decisions based on a chart.
